Torbay Pride is more than a celebration — it’s a full‑scale showcase of creativity, talent, and community spirit. Every year, we bring together an exciting mix of performers who reflect the diversity, joy, and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. From high‑energy music to heartfelt spoken word, from dazzling drag to family‑friendly fun, our entertainment programme is designed to make sure there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.

Our main stage is the beating heart of the event, hosting a vibrant lineup of singers, bands, DJs, drag artists, dancers, and special guests. We work hard to curate a programme that blends established performers with emerging local talent, giving a platform to voices that deserve to be heard. Whether you’re here to dance, to discover new artists, or to soak up the atmosphere, the Torbay Pride stage promises a day full of unforgettable moments.

One of the highlights of Torbay Pride is our incredible drag talent. Expect glamour, comedy, lip‑sync battles, live vocals, and plenty of personality. Drag has always been a powerful part of LGBTQ+ culture, and our performers bring that legacy to life with style, humour, and unapologetic self‑expression. They’re joined by dancers and cabaret artists who add even more colour and energy to the day, ensuring the entertainment never stops.

Music lovers will find plenty to enjoy, too. Our DJs keep the party going with uplifting Pride anthems, club classics, and feel‑good tracks that get the whole crowd moving. Live musicians bring everything from pop and rock to soulful acoustic sets, creating a dynamic mix of sounds that reflect the diversity of our community. We’re proud to support local artists from across Torbay and the South West, giving them a platform to shine in front of thousands.

But Torbay Pride isn’t just about the main stage. Across the event site, you’ll find smaller performance areas, community zones, and interactive spaces offering a wide range of entertainment. You might stumble upon a spoken‑word poet sharing their story, a drag queen reading to children in our family area, or a local choir filling the air with harmonies. These moments of connection and creativity are what make Pride so special — they remind us that entertainment isn’t just about spectacle, but about shared experience.

We also celebrate the incredible organisations, charities, and community groups that support LGBTQ+ people across Torbay. Many of them take part in the entertainment programme, hosting workshops, demonstrations, and activities that invite you to get involved. Whether it’s learning a new skill, joining a sing‑along, or taking part in a creative session, these experiences help bring people together and strengthen the sense of community that Pride is built on.

As the day moves into the evening, the energy shifts into full celebration mode. Our headline acts take to the stage, bringing big performances, big voices, and big Pride energy. The atmosphere becomes electric as the crowd comes together to dance, cheer, and celebrate who we are. It’s a moment of unity, joy, and visibility — a reminder of why Pride matters and why we continue to gather year after year.

Accessibility is also a key part of our entertainment planning. We work to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the performances, with viewing areas, accessible facilities, and support volunteers available throughout the day. Pride is for everyone, and we want every member of our community to feel welcome, included, and able to take part in the celebration.

Torbay Pride’s entertainment programme is designed to uplift, inspire, and bring people together. Whether you’re a long‑time Pride attendee or joining us for the first time, you’ll find a day filled with colour, creativity, and connection. From the first performance to the final song, we invite you to celebrate with us, dance with us, and make memories that will last long after the day is over.
